All-Sky Camera

Twin Pines Observatory utilizes a special purpose all-sky camera from interactive astronomy to monitor night time weather conditions and capture meteor flares and other night sky activity. The camera is computer driven and automatically takes wide field exposures throughout the evening. Every fifteen minutes the most recent set of captured images are rendered in to a time lapse movie.
