M 100 is a face-on spiral galaxy located in the constellation of Leo. It is approximately 56 million light years from Earth.

Image acquired using SBIG St-10XME camera with Astrodon filter set through 12" Meade Lx-200Gps telescope with Celestron .63x reducer.

60 minutes of Luminance, 1x1 Binning.

20 minutes each of Red, Green and Blue, 2x2 Binning.

Five minute sub-frames.
