Also known as the Rosette Nebula, this large diffuse nebula will be the birthplace of many new stars.


Image acquired with QSI-683 wsg-8 camera on Takahashi FSQ-106 astrograph.


Four hours each of exposure time through Hydrogen-Alpha, Oxygen and Sulphur filters.

Red, green and blue colors mapped to Sulphur, Oxygen and Hydrogen, respectively.

Five minute sub-frames.
